Back again so soon? It wasn't long since we last introduced you to a new face at DMT, but we're here with another one. Say hello to Sam, our brand-new Paid Search Manager & Head Of Ecommerce Strategy! We chatted away with the fashion-forward Carbonara chef, who shared a couple of Manchester bars that we can't wait to visit!

The Work Stuff 📈

Tell us about your background. What led you to DMT?

I didn't go to university, but I started at an agency when I was 18 and just slowly worked my way through various teams, which I've been doing for 6-ish years now. I came across DMT as I was working from the same WeWork they're based in.

What is something unique that you think you bring to the role? 

Strong experience in multiple marketing channels means I have a solid understanding of a holistic approach to strategy.

What’s something you want your colleagues to know about you?

Nothing, I’m a sexy mystery.

The Personal Stuff 👨‍💻

What three words would your friends use to describe you? 

Naturally scheming deviant.

What’s your favourite cultural moment of this past year and why? 

Elon Musk being peer-pressured into buying Twitter and immediately ruining it.

What’s your hobby or passion project outside of work?

Cooking. I make a mean carbonara (stop using cream in it).

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Not paying for train or tram tickets.

What causes are you supportive of, and why?

The LGBTQ community - Having friends who have to be conscious of where they go on holiday with their partners due to equality laws shows how far we've yet to come as a people. The way the community is still treated globally is cruel and inhumane.
